Taking on the coffee boys is a tall order but Tea Monkey have done  just that by launching the first of its specialist UK tea cafes in Milton Keynes by offering consumers something a bit different. The vision was to create a tea space...a place where people could chill or work, meet and eat and they wanted customers to have access to the latest technology, free wifi, and free use of wall mounted iPads...it had to be a space for all ...and locally supplied as much as possible.

So they created...Tea Monkey!

...A refreshing, clean and cutting edge tea bar...with over 40 different types of loose tea and pyramid tea sacs...including wellness and blooming teas...and it offers customers a wide range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, wraps, funky cup cakes and pastries. Tea Monkey also provides gluten free products, vegetarian options and creative activities for children.

Throughout 2011 Tea Monkey:MK will be promoting the health benefits of tea and helping to raise its profile as the healthy modern drink of choice for 2011...We are not saying you can't drink coffee...in fact Tea Monkey serves great coffee with their own coffee blends using a La Marzocco coffee machine...they just believe in giving customers more choice and a really great place to be with those choices.

The first Tea Monkey opened March 2011 at 15 Midsummer Place, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3GB (beside the oak tree).
